The Pitchtree Cafe

Absolutely LOVE Pitchtree Cafe! The food is excellent! The staff could not be anymore accommodating, and their sense of community is outstanding. They have crafts for sale from local people. Along with events for the community in the parking lot. I stopped yesterday for a to go lunch. The meatloaf was so good! The mashed potatoes were real, and the mac and cheese great! I had needed some comfort food on a very wet day and this just hit the spot! Thank you Pitchtree Cafe!

EDIT: I ordered more food (without telling them who I was) yet they decided to comp me the meal remembering me and my feedback. I had a very nice conversation with management reiterating that I want them to succeed hence my honest feedback. They were very nice and stated they were very appreciative for it. Because of this response I'm bumping my review from 2 to 4 stars. Very good food (if inconsistent at times). The problem is they constantly screw up orders. Very simple orders. Probably ~50% of the time. 1 example.. just today I put in a small order and showed up 25 minutes later. When I showed up they had the ticket but had zero food prepped. So they wandered around looking for it then told me they had to make it. I told them ok but figured there would be some type of recompense or discount.. NOPE. So I paid full price and had to wait for the food. Not exactly the way you're supposed to treat customers, repeat or otherwise. I keep giving them business due to the being local and a small business.. but they really need to get organized and run the restaurant professionally.

I'm so glad this place has found some new life with good food and a a cozy place to sit by the window with a latte and a book or friend or both !

I hope it is only temperamentally. The owners and food are amazing. I had heard a rumor from another customer that it had something to do with new fire marshal, I think that was the title we were told. If it is due to that he has cause problems for many businesses. If so shame on him. Power corrupts a lot of people. Hope it reopens soon. Have gone here lots of time. They aim to please. Food pretty good, reasonably priced. Clean.

Great Spot! The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. "The David" sausage, egg, cheese in a tall, fluffy biscuit smothered in thick, tasty sausage gravy...I'll be going back for it again and again!

Stopped in this morning for breakfast on our way back home to Tennessee and had such a pleasant experience here. The staff was so welcoming and pleasant, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the lattes if you are a coffee drinker. Very homey atmosphere with farmhouse style decor. Don’t forget to grab some coffee grounds or a locally made candle on your way out! We will definitely be returning on our next trip down to Waleska/Canton, GA.

We have had breakfast and lunch here. Great to have another breakfast place in town. Their biscuits are amazing. Staff is friendly and prompt. Lunch is good comfort food made with love. Decent selections of deserts as well. We really like the atmosphere and enjoyed conversations with the staff
